The Why

Forever calling herself an Island girl, Natasha Roque traces her roots back to Kailua, Oahu where she was born & raised. She spent much of her early twenties in Las Vegas, Nevada where she graduated with a BA in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It was inevitable that her professional career embodied customer service and hospitality as working with people and building relationships is where Natasha thrived. 

Wanting to pivot her career into the marketing world, Natasha moved to Washington State to begin her new career endeavors. Then like a whirlwind, life hit her with an unexpected turn of events which ended up depleting her self-worth. When trying to rebuild a new life, Natasha stumbled across her first Inferno Hot Pilates class at Breathe Hot Yoga in West Seattle. It was that one class that changed her perspective on her own personal strength - mentally & physically. Embodying a newly found mind-body connection, Natasha started to restore her life and found the courage to finally place herself as a priority in her own life. 

Natasha then started teaching Inferno Hot Pilates across the Breathe Hot Yoga studio locations and quickly found her passion and purpose in helping to motivate others to find their own personal strength. This was something she was able to grasp for herself and she wanted to be able to help others discover the same for themselves. Not only did the movement of the IHP class captivate her interest, but it was the inspirational communication around mindset that was peppered in from the instructor throughout the class. That is when Natasha then pursued mindset work with guidance from Gabriella Walters (Founder of Inferno Hot Pilates LLC).  

Paths aligned in the most powerful way as it took Natasha being laid off from her marketing-tech position to find herself where she is today. Instead of surrendering to the loss of work and corporate financial stability, she decided to pursue her own business with unconditional support from friends & family. Thus, RoqN Pilates was born. 

Not to mention, moving to Port Orchard WA. to be closer to her partner also helped Natasha to gain perspective on opportunity and community. Natasha’s plan is to build awareness around the training system of Inferno Hot Pilates and to share the movement with the community of Port Orchard by opening up a studio locally.  

Mindset work comes hand-in-hand with this empowerment as it takes the strength of the mind to create action in order to move with dedication and purpose.
